This program provides detailed information about the historic house types and neighborhoods of New Orleans as well as pertinent information about financial incentives, renovation financing, and permitting that will enable local you to better market and sell historic New Orleans homes. This program will earn 4 CE credits (by the LA Real Estate Commission) and by attending 2 additional PRC education programs, the PRC designation of Historic House Specialist. 8:30 am – 3:00 pm at the PRC (923 Tchoupitoulas Street.) Realizing the need to simplify the path for citizens to achieve, “the Dream of Homeownership”, Sulli Educational Services, Inc. is sponsoring a 12-hour certified homebuyer programs. The English course is Saturday, Oct. 25th,10:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday, Oct. 26th,1:00pm to 5:00pm. You must attend both days of the course. All 12-hours are necessary to receive a certificate. The program is $80.
At the end of the course students will receive verification of training that within income limitation opens the door to the various programs in assistance if eligible, Home Funds, Bond Money, various grants in each parish, soft second funds and other grants that help them with their down payment or closing cost. Assistance is subject to credit and income guidelines.
