As commercial Real Estate Agents and Brokers, we should be considered experts. We must become first responders to local communities, developers, companies and individuals.  We must move past acting like and being perceived as transactional sales people.  There is far too much For Sale/Lease by Owner, too little referral from Residential, and underwhelming input from CID into economic development and Master Planning.  I will establish and brand our collective expertise into an effective voice for economic impact.

Having grown up in the New Orleans commercial real estate arena, I have a unique perspective to office leasing and sales.  My youth and energy has added a spark to our office and my interest in all things social media and innovative technology is keeping us abreast of newer activities in marketing such as video and drone marketing.   I am running for the CID Board because I would like to further the great work past board members have done to continue to advance this organization.

I have truly enjoyed be a CID director for this past term. I have worked  under great leaders of the organization to help with the educational programs, fundraising and special focus sub groups of the CID board. My hope is that by being involved for another term that I can continue working on these quality programs and services to our members and to the public. I have also stayed involved with my other Real Estate organization ( Commercial Real Estate for Women (CREW), Urban Land Institute Louisiana Council and the Woman’s Leadership of Urban Land Institute for the Louisiana  Council as well as my membership in the CCIM  local chapter

I am honored to be in consideration for the CID Board of Directors, and believe that I can bring a unique perspective to our local leadership at this level. With a background in real estate valuation, brokerage and also fee based development, I am equipped to ensure our local brokerage community remains connected to and considerate of all working parts to our local real estate economy.

I have been honored to serve with the current leadership and humbly request your vote to serve as a member of the 2018 CID Board of Directors.

During my time with CID I have gained a further understanding of the economic, political and social machinations which affect our industry and the different courses of action that may be necessary from education, to political action to community involvement. I have become, personally, aware of how important the work we do is for our industry and our members and ask for your confidence and trust in becoming a member of the 2018 Board, there is much left to accomplish!
