Legislative Outreach Breakfast THIS THURSDAY

This year’s legislative outreach will take place on the second floor of Café Reconcile on 1631 Oretha Castle Haley. This breakfast meeting with local State Senators and Representatives will be held on Thursday, Aug. 4, with check in at 8:30 a.m. and the program following at 9 a.m.

Orleans Parish Tax Rolls Now Open!

Orleans Parish tax rolls are open now through August 15th. Property owners who wish to appeal can visit City Hall, the Algiers Courthouse, Lakeview Christian Center, or Uptown River Garden to speak with staff from the Assessor's office. More information can be found here.

Did you know that you can send a Distress Alert with your Xpress Key using the Alert Feature?
 
These alerts are designed to be sent out in real-time and and reach the designated contacts as quickly as a text message.
 
To set up the alert feature, you must you go into your SupraWeb account and select who you want the predetermined message to be delivered to. When the alert button is pushed and held for three seconds, the email is sent to the recipient's email address immediately, as long as the agent is within cellular coverage.

Code of Ethics Cycle is Due

All REALTORS® must take NAR's Code of Ethics - Cycle 4 training sometime between Jan. 1, 2013 and Dec. 31, 2016. 
 
To ensure that you do not get suspended with no services, complete your Code of Ethics - Cycle 4 now, before time runs out.
 
Don't forget - Code of Ethics classes at NOMAR are FREE until Oct. 1st. After this date, they will cost members $5 an hour! If you do not know if you have completed your Code of Ethics training, click here to download the list.

 

 

Condolences for…

Byron LeJeune, of Keller Williams Realty in Houma, who passed away in his home on July 11, 2016. Services were held July 30, 2016. In lieu of flowers, masses are appreciated as well as donations to the US Soccer Foundation, The Dachshund Rescue of North America, or the Villalobos Rescue Center of New Orleans.
