First Annual Northshore 80’s Prom Bowling Tournament
On Thursday, Nov. 17, join us for a wicked awesome bowling tournament at Tiffany Lanes in Mandeville! This year's theme is 80's prom, so put on your most rad costume and get ready to jam out to all the best music from the 80's, because we know you still know all the words. Here's the 411 - this tournament will be from 1 - 4 p.m. and willbenefit the Covington Food Bank, and there will be prizes given out for the most ace costumes and bowlers. Cost is $125 for teams of four.

Army Corps of Engineers Construction Update
The Army Corps is currently constructing the Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Control Project (SELA) in Orleans and Jefferson parishes. This work includes construction of large underground box culverts that will work to get rain water off the streets faster and into the box culverts.

This program provides detailed information about the historic house types and neighborhoods of New Orleans as well as pertinent information about financial incentives, renovation financing, and permitting that will enable local agents to better market and sell historic New Orleans homes. This program will earn 4 CE credits (pending approval by the LA Real Estate Commission) and by attending 2 additional PRC education programs (PRC First Time Renovator classes or Renovators’ Happy Hours), the PRC designation of Historic House Specialist. 8:30 am – 3:00 pm at the PRC (923 Tchoupitoulas Street.)
