The New Member Orientation date for January 2017 has been moved to Tuesday, January 10, 2016 for both the Metairie and Mandeville offices due to the holidays. Orientation will begin at 9 a.m., as usual. View the January 2017 online calendar for details.
LREC Mandatory Form Changes 2017
The LREC has made changes to the Mandatory Agreement to Buy or Sell and the Residential Property Disclosure Form, effective Jan. 1, 2017. To see the changes made to the forms, please click here.
LREC Advertising Guidelines Checklist
The LREC has adopted an "Advertising Guidelines Checklist" for all REALTORS® and brokers. This checklist is meant to prohibit false or misleading advertising that would lead the public to believe that a team or salesperson is the responsible broker. Beginning June 1, 2017, penalties will be assessed on both the agent who placed the ad and their responsible broker for violations of the Advertising Guidelines.

"The Business of Your Business" Course
Join Louisiana REALTORS® and the Women’s Council of REALTORS® New Orleans Metropolitan Network at NOMAR’s Metairie Office on Friday, Jan. 20 from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. for “The Business of Your Business.” Sign in begins at 8 a.m., with class beginning at 8:30 a.m.
This will be a full day of learning proven strategies to help you become more successful in your career as a REALTOR®. Taught by national instructor Candy Cooke, “the Business of Your Business” is a perfect way to begin the new year with an investment in yourself to improve your bottom line. While this course does not have any CE credit, it will count toward your Performance Management Network (PMN) Designation as well as one credit toward your Graduate, REALTOR®Institute (GRI) Designation.
