July 4 Office Closure

Both NOMAR offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5.

Would you like to get more involved and potentially pursue a leadership role in NOMAR, CID or GSREIN?

The President of each organization will explain the role and responsibility of the Board of Directors for each organization and the value gained by serving in a leadership position. President-elects are invited to participate as well in order to help our recruits understand what is in it for them and why they should get involved.

Come and bring a friend. In this informal setting you will learn how to get involved to help shape the future of or organizations. We will also explain the qualifications needed to run for a director and how to fulfill them. Please contact us at 504-885-3200 with questions.

Annual Agent MLS Dues Are Now PAST DUE!

Current dues billed are for the period July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018; dues are $340. NOMAR members receive a $20 discount due to services extended to GSREIN members that are funded from NOMAR dues, such as Professional Standards and support staff.

Please note: Dues were due by June 30 and considered delinquent on July 1. After June 30, there is a $75 delinquent fee that must be sent in with payment.  On July 1, the user's MLS services were suspended for nonpayment.

Are You Commercial Curious? There's a CE Class for That!

On Friday, July 21, CID will host Rich Stone for Discovering Commercial Real Estate, a class which offers a broad overview of the business. It will introduce many of the resources needed to pursue a commercial transaction or a career in commercial real estate. This is an ideal introductory course for those who are newly licensed and/or residential agents who want to learn more about commercial real estate. Class is from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm and counts for 3 CE. The class is free for CID members and $30 for non CID members.  Please  click here to register.

Broker Mandatory Course Opportunities Are Here!

NOMAR will offer 2017 Broker Mandatory - Broker Responsibility on the following dates:

The course is for broker licensees only and counts for 4 CE. If you hold a broker license, you must complete the agent mandatory topic (4 CE), the broker mandatory topic (4 CE), and the topic(s) of your choice for 4 CE for a total of 12 CE hours.
