Special Session Updates
Special Session Began June 8: The 2017 regular legislative session adjourned Thursday, June 8. Immediately following adjournment, the legislature reconvened for its second special session this year. The focus of this session is the state budget and avoiding the fiscal cliff. NOMAR will continue to post relevant information throughout the special session here and on our website.

Not following showing instructions could be a violation of the code of ethics. When a property is shown by “appointment,” always make an appointment. Public trust, your safety, and the safety of your clients must be your priority. If you see a lockbox, you may not use it without permission if an appointment is required - even if you have been there in the past and know it isn’t occupied. Catching a homeowner off guard can get you shot! Also, there may be an alarm code that is needed. Some sellers expect notice of a showing even on vacant properties.
