Additionally, Jessica Carroll is collecting old towels, blankets, pillows, mattress covers and sheets for the LA SPCA - they will be used for bedding for the dogs that are at the shelters - some dogs are waiting for their owners to come find them, and some dogs are permanently homeless and will be filtered in to the SPCA's adoption program. Regardless of their circumstance, the dogs are in chain link pens with tarp roofs right now, and anything soft for them to sleep on is appreciated. She works out of the Latter and Blum Lakefront office, and her managing broker, Bill Bliss, is allowing donations to come to her office, which is located at 7039 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124.

In an effort to raise awareness about the unique dangers that REALTORS® face at work, NOMAR is hosting two safety workshops. These workshops will be held in Metairie on September 8 and in Mandeville on September 9. Mushin is a mixed-martial arts and self-defense gym that have created a specialized self-defense seminar specifically for REALTORS®. Don’t forget – Code of Ethics classes at NOMAR are FREE until Oct. 1st when they will cost members $5 an hour! If you do not know if you have completed your Code of Ethics training, click here to download the list.
